Data science currently has much more in common with management fads than actual science. Consequently, business users are paying premium prices to have gurus separate them from their data.

Data science is the spry third generation of BPR – Told ya Data Science wasn’t  new and not the invention of DJ Patel! I started working with RJKA in the 90’s and they were on a UNIX mainframe and we used SAS, SQL an PICO – you know the OLD way (before R) giggle
