Business leaders believe in the value of data analytics, but a new Accenture survey makes it clear that there is plenty of room for improvement.

Carla Gentry CSPO‘s insight:

It’s clear that while the executives surveyed are continuing to increase their investments in analytics, only one in five says they are satisfied with the results. More troubling yet, 58 percent say they are still unclear about the business outcomes derived from those investments. And just to make matters even more interesting, half admit they are concerned aboutdata accuracy issues, and only two in five say their analytics efforts to date has yielded any actionable intelligence
